VCHS Board Meeting

The Board of Directors for the Valley County Health System (VCHS) met last night. Items discussed include financials, ambulance repair, and a consulting update.

Through March, VCHS is 19.1 percent under budget after all expenses are factored in.

Also, the ambulance that was damaged in a deer strike back in December has been repaired and returned to the hospital. Larry Proskocil was recognized for spearheading and overseeing the entire repair process.

The Bryan Clinic consultation has concluded. The 3-month consultation with VCHS focused on the entirety of a patient's experience at the hospital, starting at check-in. The goal was to find ways to enhance patient satisfaction and streamline procedures.
