Paige was born April 5, 1966 in Burwell, Nebraska to Jerald “Jerry” and Kathaleen (Svoboda) Mead.
She graduated from Burwell High School in 1984. After graduation she attended the University of Nebraska for a year before going to Forestry School in Ely, Minnesota. She worked a few jobs and then at
a printing company for three years. She met Dan Measner and they were married January 1, 1994 in Stacy, Minnesota. In August of 1995 they moved to the home ranch north of Burwell.
Paige was a rancher, a dispatcher at Region 26, a Garfield County Commissioner where she was on the Region 26 Advisory board, she worked at Burwell Floral, and was a member of the First Christian Church and numerous other boards. Paige was a very active 4-H volunteer to help young people learn quilting. She enjoyed reading, quilting, photography and traveling.
Paige is survived by her husband, Dan Measner of Burwell. Her mother, Kathaleen Mead of Burwell. A
sister, Kay and Joel Vos of Fridley, Minnesota. Two daughters, Kindra and Thomas Heim of Valparaiso, Indiana and Brittany Measner and CW McCutchen of Burwell and five grandchildren.
Paige was preceded in death by her dad, Jerry Mead and her grandparents.
