Dorothy Marie (Mills) Andersen-Jantz was born to Effie Gray and Sam Mills on May 26, 1931 in San Antonio Texas. She was the oldest daughter of 11 living children, two passed away shortly after birth.

Dorothy met a young military man, M.S. Andersen when she was a young teen-ager and she married this handsome fellow at the age of 16 ½ on October 17, 1947. Dorothy and her husband M.S. Anderson pastored many churches in the almost 51 years they were together. They touched many lives with the gospel and lead many souls into the kingdom. She rejoices in heaven now, her reward is great for all she did for her Lord and Savior.

Dorothy was determined to give her children a new father after her husband M. S. Andersen passed away on September 13, 1998, almost one year later she married Carl Jantz. Carl has been a wonderful Step Father and loving husband to Dorothy, in her last days things were made a little difficult at times as her mind started slipping away, Carl stuck by her side and loving her to the very end, she couldn’t of had a better man in her life.
